"Haunting and elegiac, Bradley’s prose deftly interweaves the stories of the Sharon Tate murders with her own memories of a pregnancy ending in tragedy and marriage's unraveling. Evocative in its atmospheric details, her prose pulls the reader into the world of the essay and doesn’t let go until that last, unforgettable image. Stunning." ~ Rachel Starnes, author of "The War at Home" "Death, Driveways, and Dreams" was DAZZLING. I couldn't stop reading. Your piece was beautifully written, very powerful, and will probably be with me forever." ~ Mel L., essayist |
